And it's not as easy as you think! It's so important for business owners to know their company values inside out, so this is a really great exercise to drill down into what makes your business so amazing, what makes it different from other companies and why customers should use your business.

Thinking this would be easy, I sat down earlier to jot down the 5 words which best describe Lollipop Rocks. Having all of our company USPs at my fingertips ready to run through - pay monthly websites (not one word), no contracts (again 2 words), website design (yet again, not one word), no contracts (erm....still 2 words!).

Realising I couldn't actually describe our unique pay monthly website design service within just 5 words, I started to understand that maybe I had missed the point of my own challenge. It isn't really about describing the business services, it's more about describing the company ethos and the values for which it stands.

So I started again!

What are the core values behind Lollipop Rocks that make it such a special website design company? Ok, here goes...

Friendly

We are very approachable, friendly and easy going. Having a tone of voice for your business is so important, it gives customers a sense of who you are. When we very first set up Lollipop Rocks, one thing we were sure about was that we wanted our voice to be friendly and conversational. Mainly because that is who we are, but also we want customers to feel like they can just call to ask us a few questions and have a chat about what we can do for them. We didn't want to bamboozle customers with tech-y jargon and we wanted customers to clearly understand our working process.

Helpful

Our main aim for Lollipop Rocks is to help small businesses get online as easily and as cheaply as possible. We don't tie people in to minimum term contracts or take any payments from people upfront, which we think is a real plus for small business owners. If you call us with any problems, we do everything we can to sort it out. Matt is exceptionally helpful on the phone, and even regularly helps a number of people (who are not even customers of ours) sort out problems with their existing websites! He just loves helping people and he loves making things work properly!

Affordable

Given that our pay monthly website packages start at just £25 per month for 3 beautifully designed website pages, with no upfront costs and no contracts, we couldn't really complete this list without using the word affordable!

Family-Run

Ok, not strictly one word, but it is an important part of who we are. Founded by myself and my husband, Lollipop Rocks is a family run website design agency. We find being a small business ourselves, helps us understand the needs of small businesses better. Plus it gives our customers a much more personal service, as we've been a part of each client's journey.

Flexible
