I thought that today we'd do a quick FAQ session into how pay monthly website design works, what the benefits are and how it could work for your business.
As you may know, here at Lollipop Rocks we are committed to getting smaller businesses and new businesses online for as little cost, and as little fuss as possible.
Our process is straight forward, with no hefty upfront fees and no minimum contracts, think of our service as a pay as you go website design package.

What fees do I pay upfront?
None. And that's the truth. After we have an initial chat about your business, and you give us the go ahead to start designing your website, that's exactly what we do. We'll design up one or two pages of a website for you so you can see how it will look, without having to pay us a penny.
When do I start paying monthly for my website design?
When you are happy with the initial design we will send you an invoice for your first monthly payment. Then we will complete your website design and get you online asap.
Are there any hidden fees?
Nope.
Am I tied into a contract?
Nobody likes to be tied into a contract, and we're no different. The only thing we ask for is 30 days' notice of cancellation if you do decide to leave us.
What will it cost?
For a 5 page website design, it will cost you £25 per month. For an ecommerce website design with up to 100 products, it will cost £55 per month. We have packages inbetween, and over and above, so we're pretty sure we can find one to suit your business.
How long will I pay the monthly cost?
For the duration of your website being online. Think of us as a pay as you go service for website design.
Can I update my website?
Some of our pay monthly website design
packages come with access to be able to update some content yourself. Alternatively, we can assist with small amends here and there.
Can I refresh the design of my website?
After you have been with us for a few years, get in touch if you want to give your website a bit of a refresh. We will happily update the look and feel for you. And we'll always get in touch if we find something new and awesome which we think will benefit your website.
How long will it take to get my website online?
Typically, from the date we receive your approved content and images, we aim to have your website live within 1 - 2 weeks.
Will my website work on mobile?
Yes! It's no surprise that the number of users accessing websites from mobile devices has now well surpassed those using desktop computers, so all our websites are designed with mobile users in mind.
Will I get found on Google?
We will add your business to google my business, SEO optimise your website and submit your sitemap to search engines. However, the advertising we leave up to you. Advertising methods work differently for different businesses, so it might be trial and error for a little while, but you'll find something that works perfectly for your budget and your business.
Do you write my website content?
Not within our standard packages. We like our clients to provide their own content, because who knows your business better than you, right?
Do you provide images for my website design?
We do! Mostly we use stock photography (we have a good eye for this, we promise), however if you have your own images of your product or service, we find that really helps to make your website stand out from the crowd. If you are looking to get an ecommerce website, we will require product imagery to be provided.
What's included in the monthly cost?
You get a fully responsive, mobile friendly website built by a UK based designer. HTTPS certificates and web hosting are included, and if you don't already have a domain name, we can provide this for the first year free of charge!
Is there a cancellation fee?
We do ask for 30 days' notice of cancellation, but we do not charge a cancellation fee. See, we really are on your side.
